Winamp3

- Single-Pane ID3 Editor
This is a single pane editor (Winamp2.X style) for Winamp 3.0 (Build 488+). It is highly requested. Right click on the file and select "Save target as..." Save the file to the "C:\Program Files\Winamp3\wacs\xml\infoedit\" directory. In builds 490 and above the file goes into the "C:\Program Files\Wasabi\1.1\Wacs\wasabi.player\mp3pcm\xml\" folder. If Winamp3 is open press F5 to refresh the skin.

- Single Pane ID3 Editor v2
A slightly updated version of the single pane editor. Features a box at the top with the path and filename of the current playing file, so it can be selected and copied. (Notice: it is the current playing file, not necessarily the file you are editing). Download the ZIP file and extract all three files to the "C:\Program Files\Winamp3\wacs\xml\infoedit\" directory. In builds 490 and above the file goes into the "C:\Program Files\Wasabi\1.1\Wacs\wasabi.player\mp3pcm\xml\" folder. Extract the scrip and download and rename the XML file to the same folder (mp3.xml).

- SHOUTcast DSP 1.8.2b Zipped
This is just the same thing as the installer from SHOUTcast.com just zipped. For the people using Winamp2 Plug-in Manager without Winamp 2.X installed. Extract the files to the Winamp3/plugins directory (may need to be created). (Updated: Includes lamedll.dll)

- Wasabi.player Fix
Fixes script errors in waveOut and DirectSound preferences. Download and extract the file to the "C:\Program Files\Wasabi\1.1\wasabi.player\" folder. Refresh the skin by pressing F5. No longer needed for recent Developer Builds (498+).



Winamp 2.X Stuff

- AVS 2.4.7 No MMX
This is the version of Advanced Visualization Studio from Winamp 2.74. This was the last version to work on non-MMX processors. Use this if there are errors when starting AVS in Winamp 2.X.

- AVS 2.2.9 | AVS 2.4.9
Two more older version of AVS.

- AVS 2.5.1
The version of AVS from Winamp 2.81. Uses avs.bmp for skinning and not gen.bmp (AVS 2.6.0+) from pre-2.9X skins. Also considered by some people to be less buggy. Packaged with NSIS Zip2Exe.

- in_wm 2.5
WMA Input support from Winamp 2.5. Supported Disk Writing.

- Wianmp 2.90b Base Skin
A base skin for Winamp 2.90 (Beta 1 and 2 compatible). Builds on 2.8X base skin with gen.bmp, gen_ex.bmp and video.bmp. Also includes a text file describing how to use the new bitmaps. Uses the pre-2.90 256 color bitmaps. Not the 32-bit skin.

- Wianmp 2.9X Base Skin
The new base skin used in the Winamp 2.9X series. Includes Steve's updates and the 32-bit bitmaps. (Extracted from Winamp 2.91).

- LAME MP3 Ripper Plug-in for Winamp 2.95+
The enc_lame.dll and lame_enc.dll files for MP3 ripping in Winamp 2.95+. This is not a leak. These files come from NSV Tools. enc_lame.dll is the nsv_coder_lame.dll file renamed and zipped with lame_enc.dll file from NSVTools also.

- wa3update.exe: Winamp3 Plugin Updates from Winamp 3.0 Build 488 (a, b, c).

Winamp2 Files
The standard plug-ins here are out of date mostly with the 2.9X series. The other plug-ins are are not included by default are still good. in_vorbis 1.2.X and 1.3a are out of date. If you are using Winamp 2.91 or below you can get the fixed in_vorbis (Vendor string bug) here. This fix will be included in Winamp 2.92. Winamp Forums thread.

- gen_alpha.zip: Transparency plugin v1.4 for Winamp2
- in_midi.exe: Winamp2 MIDI Plug-in 2.64. Pretty old
- in_spc.exe: Winamp2 SPC player plugin v2.05. (It's a SNES Sound file, Google Directory).
- in_vorbis.exe: Nullsoft Vorbis Decoder v1.2.9. Out of date, no longer needed for Winamp 2.9X.
- in_vorbis.dll: Nullsoft Vorbis Decoder 1.3a Removed: The bug it fixed is fixed in Winamp 2.92
- in_vqf.exe: Winamp2 VQF decoder v1.12b
- in_wave.dll: Nullsoft Waveform Decoder 2.07
- out_ds.exe: DirectSound Output 2.2.6 & 2.2.6 SSRC

- SHOUTcast DSP 1.8.0
A commonly requested moldy-oldie. Features saving your own streams and bit-rates as low as 8kbps.

- SHOUTcast DNAS 1.7.1
Older SHOUTcast server, doesn't have built in buffer. Gives you less lag time on a fast network.


Nullsoft Waste

It came, it went, we mirrored.
WASTE is a software product and protocol that enables secure distributed communication for small (on the order of 10-50 nodes) trusted groups of users.
