This plugin allows for items in the playlist to be dragged and dropped outside the playlist. You can for instance drag an item to a playlist in the Media Library, to a Windows Explorer window (to copy the file) or to your favourite tagging application.
Note This is, despite its publication, a work in progress. It has not undergone extensive testing and could produce unwanted results. Bug reports should be directed to me and preferably not at the developers at Nullsoft or anyone else.

Discussion thread on the Winamp forums
The plugin is set to allow drag 'n drops from the Playlist Editor by use of the right mouse-button. This is to maintain the default behaviour of re-arranging the playlist with the left mouse-button. If you prefer to drag 'n drop with the left button you can switch this in the preferences. Re-arrange is then done with the right mouse-button.
The plugin allows for some customization of the playlist apart from the drag 'n drop. Among other things you can drag files to the shaded playlist and make it unfold to allow you to drop your files, before it folds back automatically. Check the preferences for other Playlist improvements.
